Privacy Policy

This policy describes what happens to information when you use rulesmadeeasy.com. It is written to match how the site actually works rather than to cover things it does not do. Last updated: 8 September 2026.

What is collected

When you use the contact form

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. Those submissions are processed and stored by Webflow, the platform that hosts this site, and are used only to read and reply to what you send. Contact-form submissions are not automatically added to the email list and are not passed to advertisers.

When you join the email list

When you choose to join the Rules Made Easy email publication, Kit processes and stores the email address you submit and sends the confirmation email and future messages. New subscribers must confirm by email before they are treated as editorial subscribers. Every publication email includes an unsubscribe link. Contact-form submissions and Lemon Squeezy purchases do not create newsletter permission. The free starter checklist remains available without joining the email list.

Automatically, by the hosting platform

Because the site is hosted by Webflow, Webflow’s servers receive standard technical information whenever a page loads — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages requested. Webflow may also set cookies needed to serve the site and operate forms. Webflow’s own privacy policy governs that processing.

Fonts loaded from Google

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, it connects to Google and may transmit technical information such as your IP address and browser information. Rules Made Easy does not use those requests for analytics or advertising. Google’s own privacy policy governs the information Google receives.

Privacy-focused audience analytics

Rules Made Easy uses Umami Cloud for privacy-focused audience analytics. Umami’s tracking code uses no cookies and stores anonymized analytics rather than personally identifiable information. It records usage such as page views, referrers, browser and operating-system information, device type, country, UTM campaign parameters, and limited event context for actions such as checkout, affiliate, and newsletter-form submissions. To derive anonymous session and location metrics, Umami uses request data including the IP address and user agent; Umami states that the IP address is never stored. Rules Made Easy does not send names, email addresses, or payment-card details to Umami.

What is not collected

Purchases and Lemon Squeezy

Paid Rules Made Easy guides use Lemon Squeezy as the checkout and merchant-of-record provider. When you follow a guide purchase link, Lemon Squeezy handles the checkout, order, customer, tax and payment processing under its own terms and privacy practices. Rules Made Easy may attach limited attribution data to the checkout — such as the guide topic, product, page language and campaign parameters from the current page or temporarily retained in this browser tab’s session storage from the page where the visit began — so a completed order can be connected to the campaign that led to it. This temporary campaign data is limited to UTM parameters and is cleared with the browser tab/session. That attribution does not create newsletter permission, and Rules Made Easy does not receive your full payment-card details.

Affiliate links and Amazon

Some links on this site lead to Amazon. Following one takes you onto Amazon’s website, where Amazon’s own cookies, tracking, and privacy policy apply — not this one. As an Amazon Associate, Rules Made Easy earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon may provide reports about referral activity, such as clicks, ordered items, and commission income, but those reports do not provide Rules Made Easy with your name, address, or payment details.

Cookies

Webflow may set cookies needed to deliver pages, maintain security, and operate forms. Umami analytics does not use cookies. Rules Made Easy does not currently install advertising or profiling cookies. Amazon and other external websites may set their own cookies after you follow a link away from this site. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live — including California, the United Kingdom, or the European Union — you may have the right to ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. If you receive an email publication from Rules Made Easy, you can unsubscribe using the link included in the message. For any other privacy request, use the Contact page.

Children

Although the guides discuss children’s hobbies, this site is written for parents, guardians, and other adults. The contact form and email list are intended for adults. Rules Made Easy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and it will be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.

Changes and contact

Rules Made Easy currently uses Umami for privacy-focused audience analytics and Kit for confirmed editorial email subscriptions. If advertising technology, materially different tracking, new forms, or another service is added, this policy will be updated before or with that change. For any privacy question or request, use the Contact page.
